New Zealand virtuoso violinist & composer Fiona Pears started performing as a soloist with orchestras at the age of twelve. Now based in London, she has forged a career as an international soloist & recording artist which has seen her perform at many concert halls around the world as well as recording for EMI and Universal Records releases. A fiery melting pot of flavours: Latin, Jazz, Celtic & classical, as well as some hot traditional Gypsy favourites. Fiona is an electrifying performer.

Authentic Dixieland music at its best!! Based in Christchurch, this six-piece band is highly-experienced & plays a variety of styles from Dixieland through Swing to Blues and old-time Rock ‘n Roll.
Born in Lake Tekapo, Bex Murray has loved to sing & perform from a very young age. She has had vocal training from some of New Zealand best Vicki McLeod, Malcolm McNeil & Dame Malvina Major. During these years Bex‘s accomplishments included a performance with the New Zealand Royal Ballet, & singing along side such National icons as Jackie Clarke, Frankie Stevens, the late Rob Guest & Opening for the World Famous ‘The Hollies’. She also performed at several international sporting events.
Sarah Fastier grew up in Ashburton & has been singing all of her life in many different capacities. She has a passion for music & song & over the years has been taught & encouraged by some of the country’s finest; Betty Buchanan, Jo Castelow, Suzanne Prain, Rosemary Barnes, Janette Walker and Malcolm McNeil. In 2006 Sarah lived in Italy & whilst there sang with Assisi n Canto & studied the Italian language in Perugia. Sarah trained vocally in Italy with Mirella Caponetti & Lucio Sombacco.
Hamish Oliver is a New Zealand-based composer, arranger, musical director & performer for television, film & theatre, & has a Masters degree in composition. Hamish has toured internationally with Elaine Paige, Aled Jones & Hayley Westenra & performed on piano with Serj Tankian, Bic Runga, Anika Moa, Michael Barrymore, Christchurch Symphony, & Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra among others.
Anna Hoetjes (Argyle) is a Christchurch-based soprano. Recent engagements have included singing the Argentinian national anthem at the All Blacks v Argentina match in Christchurch in July last year & appearing as the soloist with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra for their Canterbury Christmas concert in the Isaac Theatre Royal in December. Anna has performed with Nelson Symphony Orchestra & the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra as well as New Zealand Opera, Southern Opera & the Court Theatre.
Christchurch Lawyer Mark Tavendale originally trained with Clifton Cook & appeared in his first Opera in 1987, Canterbury Opera’s ‘Carmen’. He subsequently appeared in numerous productions for the company including Rigoletto & Turandot. In 1996 he performed the role of Second Priest in The Magic Flute & Don Curzio in The Marriage of Figaro. Mark has appeared as a soloist with Cantores Chamber Choir & the Jubilate Singers. For Southern Opera, he has appeared in the Solid Energy Ensemble.
Recording artist living, loving & breathing music. Playing music for 10 years now Brad has just released a new album 'Gaining Fame'. Brad is the lead singer & guitarist in the Local Tekapo Band “The Mack Basin Band” along with Kelsie Scott, Isaac Wilson, Karl Burtscher, & Brett Walker. Brad has been performing for at least 8 years with his best friend Brett Walker in pubs & events all over the country calling themselves 'The BMinors'.
